Why hasn’t my poster arrived yet?
Your parcel will be sent with GLS or PostNord within 1-4 weekdays after your order. You will recieve a tracking code so you can trace your order. If you are missing a parcel, please contact your local post office to see if they have it. Simply give them your name and address, and they can check for you. If you have any questions please contact shop@vissevasse.dk.
What do I do if the parcel is damaged, or if I have received the wrong item?
Unfortunately, we might occasionally make a mistake and send the wrong item, or a parcel might be damaged in delivery. If this has happened to you, please get in touch at shop@vissevasse.dk
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you can. Please write to us at shop@vissevasse.dk, and we will work it out. Please state your order or invoice number and whether you would like a refund or a different item. Please print and fill out the return slip, and include it when you return the parcel. You can find the return slip here.
Why have I not received an order confirmation?
Often, the explanation is that there was a mistake in the email address you typed in, or the email confirmation was caught in your spam filter. Please get in touch at shop@vissevasse.dk, and we will make sure that you get your email confirmation.
When is the amount charged to my credit/debit card?
The amount is not charged to your card until the order is packaged and ready to go. For security reasons, we are not able to withdraw a bigger amount than the amount you approved.
Do you frame the posters?
Yes, when you order frame(s), we will frame the poster(s) for you.
Why do you use Plexiglas for framing, and how do I clean the glass?
The posters are framed with high-quality 2-mm non-reflective Plexiglas. The benefit of non-reflective Plexiglas is that light from lamps and windows are not reflected in the glass, and the posters are protected from the harmful UV rays of the sun. Plexiglas loses its properties if you use corrosive detergents. Therefore we recommend that you simply wipe the glass down with a damp rag wrung up in clean water. Plexiglas is stronger than conventional glass. That means that your framed poster is better able to handle the transportation to your home, and that it is more appropriate for being put up on the wall in sensitive places, such as the children’s room.

Can I pick up my order?
You are welcome to pick up your order from our office in Amager, Copenhagen.

Why are there letters missing from the titles?
We left them out on purpose. Some of the city names are missing a vowel or two. Or have no vowels at all. For example, BORNHOLM has become BRNHLM. And RANDERS is RANDRS. This is partly intended as a mental gimmick and partly based on graphic design considerations. As a rule of thumb, however, the city name should still be easy to read. That is why AALBORG has kept its double A, and RIBE is not spelled RB...
Can I have a poster custom-made?
Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to make posters by individual request. Instead, we have set up a semi-official wish list, where you are welcome to add suggestions for new posters. We check the wish list regularly to see your ideas. You can find the wish list here.
What sizes and motifs do you have?
In the webshop you will find the entire selection of ViSSEVASSE posters. Many of the motifs are made in 4 sizes: The posters measure 15 x 21 cm, 30 x 40 cm, 50 x 70 cm and 70 x 100 cm. We also have greeting cards in different sizes: A7 (mini card), A6 (with envelope) and A5. See them all here. What quality do you use?
ViSSEVASSE takes pride in being environmentally conscious, and we are proud to be an FSC-certified company (SCS-COC-005763-BS). Our cards and posters are printed on Swedish, environmentally friendly paper in Denmark. You can read more about our sustainability here.The paper is coated, which means that a thin coating has been applied, which highlights the print image. The matte surface means that the colors are reproduced beautifully in a deep and soft look. The paper is extremely age-resistant. Be aware, however, that no paper benefits from hanging in direct sunlight, as it is inevitable that the colors will fade a little over time. We print on high quality paper. The posters are printed on 170 grams Arctic Silk, the A5 cards on 350 gr. Professional silk with food water varnish. The A6 and A7 cards are printed on 330 gr. Algro Design with neutral water lacquer.
How did it all start?
Langebro was our first poster, and it was drawn in February 2013. This particular poster has formed the DNA for the style of the urban motifs in the soft color scale.
Do you draw all the products yourself?
Yes we do. Our talented designer, Dorthe, designs all products from scratch.You can see how she approaches it in the video below.
