Denmark Allotments - poster
The first allotments in Denmark were established in Ålborg in the late 19th century. At the time, they were mainly used for kitchen gardens and played an important role in the everyday life of working-class families. Since then, allotments have become a refuge from the crowded city. A place to grow your own vegetables, soak up the sun and have your spirit lifted by birdsong. Allotments have a special place in the hearts of many Danes as a place where we can recharge our batteries and hear the grass grow.
Our posters are printed in Denmark on Swedish eco-friendly paper, 170 g Arctic Silk. A5 cards are printed on 350g Profisilk with a matt water-based lacquer.
