Here you will find the recipe for the most delicious apple pie.

It's Dorthe's recipe and it's the pie you can see on our Cozy Kitchen puzzle. So the pie is perfect to eat while doing puzzles!

Ingredients

Pie base

• 150 g. butter
• 150 g. flour
• 150 g. sugar

Filling

• 4-5 apples. Preferably acidic
• 50 g. brown sugar
• Cinnamon to taste

Additionally, whipped cream for serving.

This is how you do it

• Whisk the butter (cut into cubes) with the sugar.
• Add the flour and combine into a dough. Let it rest in the fridge if needed.
• Grease the pie dish and press the dough into it, including the sides.
• Slice the apples thinly and arrange them on the dough, slightly overlapping.
• Sprinkle cinnamon and brown sugar over the pie.
• Bake for 40 minutes at 175°C.
• Serve warm with whipped cream.
