How to write a good Christmas card
A good, old-fashioned Christmas card never goes out of style. Still, not many of us find time in the busy December to write a Christmas card to those we care about.
Maybe this year is the year we have to redo it?
In any case, I can't imagine anything better than emptying the mailbox and that between boring bills and advertisements there is a sweet Christmas card 💌
We have collected our best tips for writing a good Christmas card, so that we can get started with the pen together. You can read them under the picture!
1. Write by hand:
Although you may not write by hand as much anymore, it is far more personal than a letter written on the computer. You may want to practice before starting the final map.
2. Prepare yourself:
Before you get started, it might be a good idea to think about what you want to write. Ask yourself what will be interesting to read about? And what would you like to tell?
3. Use quotes:
If you find it difficult to find your own words to describe your feelings, you can quote a singer or movie that means something to you and the recipient of your letter.
4. Write about the year that has passed
A new year is coming and it is an obvious opportunity to talk about how your year has been. What was the funnest/most enjoyable/most challenging thing you have experienced? What will you think back to when you think about 2022?
5. Make something special out of the card:
Choose a motif that tells a story and that means something to the recipient. It is obvious to choose a Christmas motif so that the recipient can get into the right Christmas spirit.
6. Relax while writing:
Instead of making your letter-writing a chore, you can create a cozy atmosphere around you. Turn on the calendar candle, make a cup of coffee and put on some good Christmas music. Then it's actually quite relaxing 😄
