COUNTRY/CITY POSTERS
Here you will find e.g. the popular Langebro poster and the beautiful Tivoli posters. You can find posters from Danish cities such as Kolding, Aarhus, Ribe, Aalborg, Roskilde etc. It all started with the Langebro poster, and you can read more about how it all started right here. A great many city posters have been added to the site - also foreign ones such as: Amsterdam, Berlin, London and Paris. If you are interested in seeing our entire selection of Denmark posters, you can see them here.
We believe that one of the reasons why the city and country posters have become so popular is that you can signal a sense of belonging to yourself and the outside world. It is important to remind ourselves where we come from or perhaps where we are? Posters have become many people's favorite decoration for the home. That is why we have collected different categories, including posters for the kitchen. In addition, we also sort by motifs, which you can see, for example, on our botanical posters.
If we send a poster of the Aalborg Tower and an Aarhus Ån poster to an address in Copenhagen, we might think that here is a young couple from two places in Jutland who have found each other and have now moved to the capital . There may be a sea of other stories behind it. However, we think many of the posters hang in the cities they portray. Can you find one from your city?

Posters Copenhagen
On this page you will find several beautiful posters from our beautiful capital. The posters all have the ViSSEVASSE universe as the focal point, with illustrations from the various Copenhagen districts - including Frederiksberg. Take e.g. our beautiful Christianshavn poster, where you e.g. can see the iconic, twisted church tower from Vor Frelser church. Christianshavn is completely its own and Christianshavn residents – as well as immigrants and emigrants – are of course proud to show their belonging to this completely unique district.
Our Queen Louise's Bridge poster is another popular choice. Queen Louise's bridge connects Nørrebro with Indre By, and the bridge is therefore a hub for Copenhageners and tourists. Queen Louise's bridge is actually one of the world's busiest for cyclists, which approx. 40,000 cycling Copenhageners cross every single day. The poster shows the Queen Louise Bridge on a very early summer morning, before the many cyclists have taken the bridge.

Posters Aarhus
Aarhus is Denmark's second largest city, and the "City of Smiles" has seen rapid development in the last few years. Aarhus offers top-class international cultural offerings; including the ARoS Art Museum. At the top of the modern art museum is the most beautiful, curved rainbow, which visitors can walk around and look out over the whole of Aarhus and the Aarhus Bay in all the colors of the rainbow. On our Aarhus ARoS poster, this beautiful work of art by Danish-Icelandic Olafur Eliasson is in the center – the perspective here is the reddish color shades.
You can advantageously combine this poster with one of our other Aarhus posters - e.g. our poster with Aarhus Town Hall. This poster is very popular among Aarhusians and others with a connection to Aarhus. Aarhus Town Hall is a masterpiece of Danish architecture and modernism, and the functionalist building is an icon for the whole of Aarhus.
Posters Odense
Odense is HC Andersen's hometown, and the world-famous multi-artist and city boy is Odense's greatest pride. On our Odense poster The duckling, a swan, which may have been an ugly duckling in the past, struts around in front of HC Andersen's House and the other adorable town houses. HC Andersen gave the whole world so many fantastic, timeless adventures like The Ugly Duckling, and with this poster you can show your enthusiasm for HC Andersen and Odense.
We have also created a Fyn is fine poster, which, among other things, is based on HC Andersen's fairy tale about Thumbelina. On the poster, Tommelise stands on a water lily leaf, which represents Fyn holding a flying butterfly; just like in the fairy tale.
Posters Denmark
Denmark is a beautiful little spot on the world map, and our country offers one idyllic nature experience after another. It is healthy for both body and soul to move around in nature. In the spring months of April and May, you can e.g. see the beautiful rapeseed fields as soon as you move around the countryside. We have illustrated the rape fields on our Denmark Rapsmarkerne poster.
Denmark is a maritime nation. Many Danes therefore also like to be out on the blue wave. We have therefore created two posters which focus on our love for sailing and fishing. On our Danmark Sejlbåden poster, we have illustrated a sailboat sailing around the inland Danish waters with a low sun on the horizon. On our Danmark Fiskebådene poster, we pay tribute to the steadfast fishermen and their fishing cutters who live on Thorupstrand in North-West Jutland. You will also find many other illustrative posters that focus on Danish nature on this page.
You can e.g. be inspired by Denmark's beautiful cities with ourKolding poster , Esbjerg poster or our Aalborg poster .
