CHANTERELLES - puzzle with 300 pieces

The sun hangs low above the forest, and the last golden rays of the day filter through the treetops. We head out to forage, young and old alike, carrying woven baskets, wearing hand-knitted hats, and with rosy cheeks from the crisp autumn air.

We search for nature’s hidden treasures. It feels like striking gold when the first chanterelles appear among the moss and fallen leaves. The forest floor is soft beneath our feet, and the cool autumn air carries the scent of earth, trees, and rain.

We know this forest well. This is our secret chanterelle spot - a place we return to year after year. Because nature gives us more than delicious ingredients. It gives us peace, presence, and time together.

Out here, our shoulders relax, and we find ourselves taking deeper breaths. And as the day draws to a close, we head home with our baskets full, already looking forward to a warm mushroom meal made from the day’s harvest.
