Mmm... something smells sweet from the kitchen. Christmas spices, oranges, and vanilla are just some of the scents we associate with December and everything that makes the holiday season so special.

For us, Christmas is not just about Christmas Eve. It is also about all the cosy traditions leading up to it - gathering together to bake cookies, make paper garlands, and weave Christmas hearts. These small moments of togetherness and connection are what make Christmas truly magical.

This Advent Calendar consists of a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle divided into four boxes - one for each Sunday of Advent. Every Advent Sunday, you can open a new box containing 250 puzzle pieces and enjoy a cosy puzzle session, either all at once or little by little throughout the week.

To add even more Christmas spirit, we have included four creative holiday activities that we hope will inspire cosy moments throughout December.

On the back of each box, you will find a QR code that gives access to a Christmas recipe or activity:

1st Advent: How to make dried orange slices

2nd Advent: How to bake gingerbread cookies

3rd Advent: How to bake Danish vanilla butter cookies

4th Advent: How to weave traditional Danish Christmas hearts

We hope this calendar will help create small moments of togetherness, mindfulness, and Christmas magic throughout December.

All boxes and puzzle pieces are numbered, making it easy to sort the pieces back into the boxes once Christmas is over. That way, you can enjoy the calendar again year after year.

Product information

The puzzle contains small pieces and should not be near children under the age of three.
The puzzle measures 63x45 cm. The box measures 22 x 31.5 x 5 cm.
The box opens and closes easily with a magnetic closure.
The pieces are numbered on the back, so you can easily sort them back into the small boxes when December is over.
Each day leading up to Christmas, you complete a small section of the puzzle. From December 1st to 23rd, there are 40 pieces a day and 80 pieces on December 24th.

The game is made of C1S and Greyboard paper produced in China.

Tips for creating a peaceful and present moment while doing a puzzle

It’s even cozier to do a puzzle when you make a little extra effort. Here are some tips to make your puzzle time even better:

Put your phone away so you won’t be distracted.
Grab something to drink and snack on before you sit down.
Put on some cozy music or a podcast to set the mood.
Light some candles and lamps to make sure you have good lighting for seeing the pieces.
Do the puzzle with someone you love – it’s so cozy, and you’ll have the best conversations along the way!
